For the second year, Qatar's Lusail International Circuit plays host to the opening round of the WEC schedule – and despite it being a typical, modern day venue, it provided an intriguing contest.

Trackside was photographer Harry Parvin, who worked directly for the championship for a number of years and now finds himself supplying his imagery to drivers from Ferrari, Corvette and beyond.

Exclusively for OE, Harry has shared his favourite shots from the event for us to enjoy, here's what he had to say about shooting the Qatar 1812KM.

"Back in Qatar for the second time, which always helps refine what you want to shoot. There was a real mix of light across the Prologue and race week, but it made for some great variety. This circuit really comes alive at night—unlike many tracks that fade into darkness (Spa, cough cough), Qatar is brilliantly lit, making night sessions a dream to shoot.

"While it’s not my favourite circuit for photos, it’s a diverse place. The mix of modern architecture, skyscrapers, and bold run-off areas offers plenty of variety. The paddock is sleek and well-designed, making it a great spot for portraits.

"We finally got one proper sunset this time. Last year, haze ruined the golden light, but this time, it all came together.

"The highlight? Seeing all my clients on the podium. Dani Juncadella and his TF Sport teammates taking their first win was special—nothing beats the energy of a race victory.

"Next up: multiple team launches at ELMS Barcelona. Can’t wait."
