Haupt Racing Team are set to run the Ford Mustang GT3 at the Nürburgring in 2025, marking a first for the American model in the modern SP9 era.
The team, based opposite the Döttinger-Hohe straight, will run a pair of Mustangs in the full 10-race Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) and at June's Nürburgring 24 Hours.

Both cars will run in the SP9-PRO class, which is the NLS' premier category.
On Wednesday morning, the team confirmed the driver crews across the two cars, as well as fetching blue and yellow liveries.
The blue #2 Mustang is headlined by three-time 24h Nürburgring winner Frank Stippler, who moves over from Audi machinery to the HRT Ford, and features Ford Performance factory driver Dennis Olsen who has raced the Mustang in every event it has been entered in since its debut.

HRT retain the services of newly signed Ford Factory Driver Arjun Maini, who has raced for the team in multiple championships since 2022, and take on Nico Bastian who will tally his seventh 24H Nürburgring this year.
On the other side of the garage, the yellow #6 car stars Ford factory talent in the form of Dirk Mueller, who was the first to test the Mustang GT3 on the Nordschleife in November last year, and new factory representatives Jusuf Owega (who could forget that moment in 2024) and David Schumacher, with HRT regular Dennis Fetzer the fourth driver.

The first round of the 2025 NLS season takes place this weekend, you can watch it live and free on YouTube. Want to keep tabs on multiple championships? Download The Racing Line App to stay up to date with schedules and streams from around the racing world.
